I appreciate the efforts of everyone for getting the forums up and running so quickly only for the creater to delete it after it was looking promising! It was a shame. I came across this on twitter. www.marinersfans.net/It looks very good should be up by the weekend apparently. This one hasn't really took off yet and with yet another new forum fans will be split further. Anyone know about this website?

It's unreachable. That's all I get when I go on there.

It's kinda working now, though I say kinda because when I click on the pop up box thing to register, nothing happens. Doesn't let me register.

Well if you read the write up below ↓↓
"Recently, Grimsby Towns biggest forum, TheFishy closed its doors. Now, we'll be honest. We know there's probably more forums out there for you to use, but we'd like you to use ours. We're using an excellent forum software, names vBulletin which is largely used within the industry of websites, it's secure and fast. We're using Cloudflare to speed our website up for you Cod heads as well as using their protection, meaning our website will be faster, smarter, more responsive and more secure. That's not all. We'll be using articles and getting many Mariners fans, who've been fans for years, to write them. You'll be able to comment, subscribe to them as well as 'like' forum posts, have live-feed updates when posts are posted (yes no more f5ing on the same page waiting for people to post, just sit back and relax!), enjoying a free-flow discussion about your favorite team, Grimsby Town on the go. As well as a free-flow discussion, we'll take Moderation very seriously, we want you to enjoy a free-flow discussion about Grimsby Town without being mislead or even members causing trouble. We'll deal with them as quick as we can.As well as all these features, we'll be also having a lot more and we'll tell you more about it later. We welcome everybody, for now, we're setting everything up and hopefully, people will get involved. We're looking for Moderators and a general Administrator who'll maintain & manage the website alongside us. We'll be up by the weekend, we have no affiliation with GTFC. We'll also be advertising: TooGoodToGoDown & GTFCs Black & White Army as these are the pages we're interested in and think budding Town fans like you, would be too. MarinersFans will be fully here on the 25th July 2013 @ 6pm GMT. We hope to see you here!"

Nice of them to be advertising my Facebook page GTFC's black and white army. Didn't read it all last time, that will teach me lol. Sounds pretty good to be honest and will keep an eye on it.

The point I'm making basically is it would make sense for all the forums that have been set up since the fishy closed to all be in the same place?

Agreed. If it turns out to be better than this one then I will recommend them to everyone. But for now this one will still be operational.

Heya, that's the forum I created.
We're unsure if we should continue with the project, but we're putting a small amount of money to keep it operational for now and the long term future.

Just realised who is behind it, I was offered to help him and turned him down. I thought he were just another kid. That will teach me for judging too quick. Thought to be fair we already had the other forum up and running at the time.

Hey - I'm preparing for university so I'm pretty well influential within the vBulletin / PHP coding saga of it all, so it's nothing new to me. I also run a teenage forum which brings over 300 users in, daily. I want to keep this project completely separateand see how it does. We're holding it off though, in case people DO settle we don't want to disrupt that. We support all Grimsby Town sites though and hopefully we can grow & affiliate with them. As well as keeping moderation to the best we can.
