Excellent news. Not 100% fit yet but showed he had skill and talent at Scunny on Saturday. Another good addition IMO

Great news.
Looked impressive on Saturday, especially considering that was his first game in quite a while. Can play all along the back four and you need players like that if you've got a smaller squad.
Can only imagine Doig will sign this week too.

Doig looks shit to me fellas not getting good vibes from him at all! 32 and has dodgy knees!
It'll all go tits up and we'll end up paying more moeny in loan market. Negative I know but not good vibes at all

Bignot is a very good signing. Doig has looked decent to me in all 4 games I have seen him. He wasn't at fault for any of the goals on Saturday. Good on the ball and good experience just what we need I think. And this about his dodgy knees they look alright to me. 32 is not that old. Think some people are just going by what some York fans have said about his knees but they look fine in a town shirt maybe people should judge him and his so called dodgy knees on displays playing for the mariners not by words posted on forums. Just saying.

The question is can he play week in week out all season? Well he looks like he can on the games I have seen him play so far. And that's all I can go on. Guess we will all have to wait and see but it looks pretty promising so far. utm
